The missing links!
I’ve collected quite a pile of links and haven’t gotten a chance to post them yet! I’ve been finishing up Ben & Molly’s wedding and catching up on paperwork…well…and reading trashy vampire novels but that is beside the point.
Photos from Ben & Molly’s wedding coming, once they see them! I’ve also got a shoot at a Belly Dancing rehearsal coming up and I’m working on scheduling a day to shoot a friend of mine doing Silks. Silks performance is those incredibly badass women roll themselves up in and climb the long panels of silk suspended from the ceiling. Very cool. I’m hoping to get a wide angle lens by then.
I have two more weddings this month, one this weekend and one next weekend and a possible product shoot coming up. I’ve been busy, busy! It’s great!
Anyway, bring on the links!

Rampant Decay @ The New Wave 06.12.09
Here’s a few from the Rampant Decay show at the New Wave Cafe in New Bedford last weekend:

Providence Roller Derby: Annual League Photo
I was given the honor of taking the PRD’s annual league photo at Sunday’s game. I was really stoked to get the chance, I am a big derby fan. My buddy Christine (aka Burnin’ Helen) didn’t make the photo cause she ran late so you’ll have to imagine her awesome self in there.
The light was pretty ruthless and with only one flash, I wasn’t attempting to light this huge group but I think it came out pretty good anyway! I was nervous, it looked soft in my camera but once again my preview screen was screwing with me!
I was looking forward to shooting the bout, but 2 jams into the game the sky opened up and poured on us. The game resumed after the shower but I’d left by then, I had the baby with me and didn’t want him to be cold and damp just so his mommy could shoot pictures!
Thanks for having me, PRD! Congrats to the Old Money Honey’s on their game opener win!
For what little I shot of the bout, go here.
Engagement Session: Colleen & Jeremy
Colleen and Jeremy are one of my September wedding couples and we went out Saturday evening to take their engagement photos around Fairhaven, MA…where Colleen and her family are from. Jeremy proposed to her on top of this rock so it was only fitting to take most of the shots there. We had a great time, they’re a funny couple and very easy to shoot. They live on a boat in CT, how cool is that?
